Research and Application of the Case-Based Learning in the Course of Foundation Engineering under OBE Concept

摘要: 基础工程是土木工程等专业的核心基础课,工程案例繁多,传统的讲授法教学模式导致学生积极性低,学习效果欠佳,很难达到OBE(成果导向教育)理念的要求。该文基于工程教育认证培养目标和课程教学现状,从教学思路、案例库设计、教学过程等方面建立了OBE理念下的案例式教学模式。实践表明:该教学方法能够有效提升学生的主观能动性和课堂教学质量,取得了良好的教学效果。

Abstract: Foundation engineering is the core basic course of civil engineering and other majors. An important characteristic of the course is the large number of engineering cases, resulting in the traditional lecture method has low enthusiasm of students and poor effect, which is difficult to meet the requirements of OBE (Outcome-Based Education) concept. Based on the training objectives of engineering education professional certification and the current teaching situation of the course, this paper establishes the case-based learning mode under the OBE concept from the aspects of teaching ideas, case base design and teaching process. The practice shows that the case method can effectively improve students'subjective initiative and the quality of classroom teaching, and has achieved a good teaching effect.
