Reform and Exploration for the Course Fundamentals of Translation Technology under the Background of New Liberal Arts Construction

摘要: 新文科建设对外语教学提出了“内容提质”与“模式创新”。根据这一原则,该文以外国语言学文学类翻译本科专业核心课程翻译技术基础为研究对象,进行了课程改革探索。翻译技术课程是翻译本科专业人才培养体系中不可或缺的专业类课程,该课程对于培养新时代亟须的语言服务人才至关重要。该文立足技术能力本位教育理念,充分挖掘课程中的思政元素,采用技术驱动+翻译实践的模式,在翻译技术课程体系中进行实践,力求做到技能提升与价值引领相结合,有效提升专业知识和技能的同时,实现课程思政的育人目标。教学实践表明:学生的翻译技术素养和跨专业知识融通能力得到明显提升,对课程教学效果表示满意。

Abstract: The construction of new liberal arts puts forward“content improvement”and“mode innovation”for foreign language teaching. According to this principle, this study takes the core course of translation undergraduate program of foreign linguistics and literature, translation technology fundamentals, as the target, and carries out the exploration of curriculum reform. Translation technology course is an indispensable professional course in the talent cultivation system of translation undergraduate majors. The course is crucial for cultivating the much-needed language service talents in the new era. This study is based on the concept of technical ability-based education, fully explores the ideological and political elements in the course, adopts the mode of translation practice for technology-driven in the existing translation technology course system, and strives to combine skill enhancement with value leadership, effectively enhance professional knowledge and skills, and at the same time, realize the nurturing goal of course ideology. The result shows that students’translation technology literacy and inter-disciplinary knowledge integration ability have been significantly improved, and they are satisfied with the teaching effect of the course.
