Abstract: Excel-based Economic Statistical Analysis and Application course is a highly practical course combining Excel software with economy and finance. Under the situation of striving for first class courses, this paper analyzed the pain points of current curriculum teaching, and puts forward the corresponding curriculum reform ideas. It introduced the teaching implementation process and assessment methods in the actual teaching, and discussed the significance and cases of political education into teaching. The author expounds the improvement measures for the course construction in the future and provides new ideas for the course reform.
