Cultivation and Practice of Mechanical Thinking and Innovative Ability——Taking the Teaching Innovation of Mechanics of Materials as an Example

摘要: 为适应新工科建设需求,教师在教学过程中应充分重视大学生创新素质的提升,全面探索力学思维与创新能力的培养与考核方法。针对当前材料力学教学过程主要存在的两大问题:力学模型提炼能力不足和工程应用与创新能力不强,基于材料力学课程教学创新与实践,课程引入工程案例,采用理论与实践结合的案例教学法,将力学模型提炼过程情景再现,让学生增长见识,积累经验,掌握力学思维方法,同时创造性地增加创新实践环节,增强学生的工程应用与创新能力。思政育人贯穿课程全过程,能够强化育人效果,助力学生全面发展。三轮的实践与调查问卷证明:材料力学教学创新是有效和可靠的。

Abstract: In order to meet the demand of the emerging engineering education, teachers should pay full attention to the improvement of the innovative quality of college students in the teaching process, and explore the cultivation and assessment methods of mechanical thinking and innovative ability comprehensively. Two major problems exist for the current teaching process of mechanics of materials: Insufficient ability of mechanical model refinement and weak ability of engineering application and innovation, based on the innovation and practice of teaching mechanics of materials course, the course introduces engineering cases, adopts the case teaching method of combining theory and practice, reproduces the mechanics model refining process, allows students to be experienced and knowledgeable, then master the mechanics thinking method, at the same time creatively increases the practice activities to enhance the engineering application and innovation ability. Ideological and political education runs through the entire teaching process, can strengthen the effectiveness of education, and assists the students'comprehensive development. After 3 years'of practice and questionnaires, the teaching innovation of mechanics of materials has been proved to be effective and reliable.
