Abstract: Social work theory education has been developing for many years, and has achieved good results, continuously improving the theoretical system in various fields of social work, which provides important support for the development of social work practice, but due to the lag of social work practice education, it affects the cultivation of practical ability of social work students. This paper mainly analyzes the problems faced by students of social work in practical ability cultivation from the aspects of course setting, social work practice, application of social work practice base, social work practice teachers, social work experiment construction, etc. Based on the analysis of problems, corresponding countermeasures are provided to promote the cultivation of students of social work practical ability.
