Abstract: The teaching effect of traditional higher mathematics teaching mode is not ideal. Therefore, this paper puts forward the research on the innovation of higher mathematics teaching mode under the background of multimedia. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the traditional teaching of higher mathematics, puts forward the necessity and function of applying multimedia technology to higher mathematics teaching, and finally puts forward the optimization strategy of higher mathematics teaching mode based on multimedia technology. Use multimedia technology to create a multimedia teaching method, starting from three aspects before class, during class, and after class, combining multimedia technology with the original teaching method to form a multimedia teaching method; introducing multimedia teaching tools, developing a multimedia teaching platform, establish a multimedia teaching environment suitable for advanced mathematics teaching, so complete the innovative research of advanced mathematics teaching mode under the multimedia background.
