Abstract: The article takes the artisan spirit as the foothold, around the skill contest, the accomplishment education fusion to launch the discussion. First of all, it expounds the necessity of integrating the skills competition into the teaching of higher vocational colleges, and secondly, it analyzes the deficiencies in the cultivation of talents in higher vocational colleges, including the uneven level of teachers and the urgent need to update the teaching methods, etc. , at last, the author puts forward some strategies which can make the skill contest fully integrate with the daily teaching and help the professional quality education, including the cooperation training for teachers and the creation of the integration mode of the class contest, in the hope that it will inspire those involved.
