Abstract: Public welfare entrepreneurship education is an important part of entrepreneurship and innovation education in higher vocational colleges. It has the dual functions of professional education and ideological and political education. Taking the public welfare entrepreneurship education of Wuxi Vocational and Technical College as an example, this paper puts forward that the public welfare entrepreneurship education in the new era should build a rational and practical platform, realize the multi-level integrated development of scientific innovation, special innovation, industrial innovation and ideological innovation, create a "five in one" curriculum system, multi-channel and all-dimensional empowerment, and provide favorable support for the team cultivation, project excavation and value training of college students' public welfare entrepreneurship.
