Abstract: This paper discusses promoting adult learners to explore the fun of language learning by using real corpus and form ultimate self-directed learners with the help of multi-modal corpus under the background of constructing lifelong learning education system. Through analyzing the cause of adult learners’ lack of motive, difficulty to achieve acquisition and continuity of knowledge, this paper researches how college or community develops curriculum standards, provides the high-quality teaching resources, enriches the contents of the online learning as the supply side and eventually develops a diversified evaluation system, offered tailored assessment programs to measure learning outcomes for adult learners.
