Curriculum System Optimization and Teaching Mode Reform of Principles of Environmental Engineering Based on Engineering Education Professional Certification——Taking Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering as an Example

摘要: 仲恺农业工程学院是一所应用型本科院校,于2020年启动了环境工程专业认证工作。《环境工程原理》课程教师团队认真研究分析课程的特点和基础,针对当前课程教学过程中存在的问题,结合学校和专业人才培养方案实际情况,积极开展改革探索和实践。通过精炼教学内容、丰富教学资源、强化实验实践等手段优化了课程体系;通过建设线上教学管理平台、实行线上线下混合式教学、引入虚拟仿真实验平台、细化考核项目综合评价等措施改革了教学模式。通过课程体系优化和教学模式改革,为提高课程教学质量、达到工程认证标准、提高人才培养质量做出贡献。

Abstract: Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering, an application-oriented undergraduate university, started the professional certification of environmental engineering in 2020. The teacher team of Principles of Environmental Engineering course studied and analyzed the characteristics and basis of the course earnestly, and actively carried out reform exploration and practice in view of the problems existing in the current course teaching process and in combination with the actual situation of the school and professional talent training program. The curriculum system is optimized by refining teaching content, enriching teaching resources and strengthening experimental practice. The teaching mode is reformed through the construction of online teaching management platform, the implementation of online and offline hybrid teaching, the introduction of virtual simulation experiment platform, and the refinement of comprehensive evaluation of assessment items. Through the optimization of curriculum system and the reform of teaching mode, we will make contributions to improving the quality of curriculum teaching, reaching the engineering certification standard and improving the quality of talent training.
