Abstract: The strategy of "The Belt and Road Initiative" has brought about new opportunities and challenges for the reform of foreign language curriculum in colleges and universities, which is in line with the trend of economic globalization, cultural diversification and social information. The Belt and Road Initiative, which lays a solid foundation for the occupation of comprehensive language talents with excellent language skills and excellent professional skills. Therefore, this paper aims to explore the problems existing in the foreign language curriculum reform and put forward some suggestions, so as to provide reference for the foreign language curriculum reform under the background of "The Belt and Road Initiative".
