Abstract: The course "Introduction to sociology" pursues the unity of scientific orientation and humanistic orientation, that is, it pays attention to the organic link between theoretical professional knowledge and valuable knowledge through effective carriers and paths. The introduction to sociology is a compulsory course for the students majoring in ideology and politics in our college, which is helpful for the students majoring in ideology and politics in civil aviation universities to cultivate their feelings of home and country, civic responsibility, value orientation, humanistic quality, etc. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the course of ideology and politics from the perspective of the reform and construction of curriculum ideology and politics and teaching practice, and probes into the problems existing in the course of ideology and politics in civil aviation universities, the starting point and practical strategy of the course introduction to sociology in the reform and innovation of Ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
