Abstract: According to statistics from the Ministry of Education, there are as many as 8.74 million graduates in the class of 2020. Faced with the changing macro environment and the shrinking demand of the job market, graduates will be unemployed and employment in colleges and universities will be difficult. How to alleviate the current complex and severe employment situation and how to achieve full employment are major issues facing graduates of the class of 2020, as well as challenges to the employment of college graduates. Taking the graduates of college of higher Vocational Rducation, Nanjing University of the Arts in 2020 as an example, this paper discusses the new characteristics and problems of employment in art colleges,and seeks for new methods and approaches to alleviate the complex situation, so as to provide new ideas for the promotion of employment in colleges and universities in a special period.
