新工科背景下高校ESP教学模式现状及其对策研究

摘要: 大学英语作为高等院校的基础必修课程,需要紧跟新工科建设的新理念进行相应的教学改革和创新,在实践教学中努力实现学科交叉融合,这就突出了新工科背景下高校大学英语课程实施ESP教学改革的必要性,然而高校在ESP教学实施过程中存在诸多问题。只有通过合理的ESP课程设置、翔实有效的教学内容、多样化的教学方法和更加完善的教学管理体系,才能培养出适应社会发展需求的高素质复合型、应用型和创新性的新工科人才。

Abstract: As a basic compulsory course in Colleges and universities, College English needs to follow the new concept of new engineering construction to carry out corresponding teaching reform and innovation, and strive to achieve interdisciplinary integration in practical teaching, which highlights the necessity of implementing ESP teaching reform in College English Curriculum under the background of new engineering. However, there are many problems in the process of ESP teaching in Colleges and universities. Only by relying on high-level ESP teachers with language ability and professional knowledge, detailed and effective teaching content, diversified teaching methods and more perfect teaching evaluation system, can we cultivate high-quality compound, applied and innovative new engineering talents to meet the needs of social development.
