Abstract: At present, under the background of the deepening reform in the field of education in China, innovation and entrepreneurship education has become one of the main directions of talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges. The core of modern apprenticeship is the same as that of higher vocational education, both of which are to cultivate professional, skilled and applied talents. However, there are some differences between them in the process of personnel training. Learning from the excellent experience of modern apprenticeship will help to further improve the training mode of innovative and entrepreneurial talents in higher vocational education. This paper briefly describes the modern apprenticeship, analyzes the advantages of modern apprenticeship, and specifically discusses the Enlightenment of modern apprenticeship on the training mode of innovative and entrepreneurial talents in higher vocational education.
