加强地球化学课程实践教学的改革探索

摘要: 地球化学是地球科学的支柱学科之一,强化地质类专业本科生地球化学实践能力培养已成为当前培养地球科学人才的紧急任务。该文针对地球科学专业大学生化学基础弱、地球化学课程弱化实践教学的基本现状,探讨了增加地球化学课程实践环节的方式方法。具体包括利用小班教学、地球化学案例教学等手段,强化课内实践教学,增加课外实习、实验、参与科研项目等方法,加强课外实验与实践环节,以及提高实习实践能力在考核中的比例等,以期促进地球化学专业本科生实践能力的全面提升。

Abstract: Geochemistry is one of the pillar subjects of earth science. It has become an urgent task to strengthen the geochemical practical ability cultivation of undergraduates majoring in geology. Based on the situation of weak chemistry foundation and weak practice teaching of geochemistry course for college students majoring in earth science, this paper discusses the ways and methods to increase practices of geochemistry course. The methods include using small class teaching, geochemistry case teaching and other means to strengthen the classroom practice teaching; increasing extra-curricular practice, experiments, participation in scientific research projects and other methods to strengthen extra-curricular experiments and practices; improving the proportion of practice ability in the assessment, and so on. The purpose is to promote the comprehensive improvement of the practical ability of the undergraduates majoring in geochemistry.
