Abstract: Scientific research team is a community of scientific and technological workers. The significance of scientific research team is to give full play to the subjective initiative of each person, apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of each member, and devote to the problem solving, and finally achieve the common goal. As an important part of higher education system, the research team of private vocational colleges should shoulder the important tasks such as the cultivation of scientific research personnel, the research and development of science and technology and the transformation of scientific research achievements. Therefore, the clarity of its research objectives, the clarity of power and responsibility, the stability of members and the rationality of positioning should be ensured. This paper is devoted to the research on how to better promote the construction of research team in private vocational colleges, using the methods of literature analysis, field investigation and experience summary, taking Guangzhou Chinese Vocational College as an example, this paper expounds the main methods and achievements of the construction of scientific research team in private vocational colleges. It expounds the thinking from different perspectives, such as the establishment of scientific research team, management of scientific research team, assessment and evaluation of scientific research team, hoping to bring some reference value for relevant workers, so as to promote the orderly research of teachers in private vocational colleges and improve the level of research team of private vocational colleges.
