Abstract: With the development of economic globalization, cultural exchanges are increasingly frequent, cultural diversity and innovation demands make people accept the cultural integration design.This paper explains the development and evolution of Chinese and Western architectural entrances from the perspective of entrance space, and analyzes and summarizes the similarities and differences between Chinese and western traditional architectural entrance spaces by using the comparison method, so as to learn from the design essence and culture, so as to explore the design method of modern entrance space integrating Chinese and Western culture. It is hoped that this paper can contribute to the development of entrance space design in China.
