基于OBE理念的大学英语听说混合式教学模式探究

摘要: OBE是一种倡导以终为始的逆向设计的教学理念,它聚焦于学生受教育后获得什么能力和能够做什么。基于OBE理念的大学英语听说课程从学生的毕业要求出发,细化课程教学目标、重构课程教学内容、创新评价方式,充分利用学校Tronclass平台,旨在建立线上线下相结合的混合式听说教学模式,并采用翻转课堂将授课环节设计为课前预学诊断、课中内化知识和课后反馈提升。在考核方面,课程通过线上线下形成性评价和期末总结性评价相结合的评估手段,配合实时有效的监督、反馈、评价机制,使教学质量得以持续改进。

Abstract: The "Outcome-based Education(OBE)" is an education concept advocating reverse design, which focuses on what abilities students acquire and what they can do after learning. Starting from students’ graduation criteria, the design of the course of "College English Listening and Speaking" specifies the teaching goals, reconstructs the teaching content and innovates the evaluation approach. By making full use of Tronclass, the university’s online teaching platform, the study aims to establish an O2O blended learning mode and divides the teaching process into three parts: pre-class preview and evaluation, in-class internalization of knowledge and after-class feedback and advancement according to the flipped classroom. In the aspect of students’ assessment, with the help of the mechanism of timely and effective supervision, feedback and evaluation, the mode combines O2O formative evaluation and final summative evaluation to keep improving the teaching quality.
