An Empirical Study on the Improvement of Non-English Majors' Oral Ability under the "Teacher-Student Cooperation Evaluation" Mechanism

摘要: 该文以16级某个非英语专业女生的四次口语考试为语料,以大学英语四级口语考试为评分标准,在该女生班级实行为期16周的师生合作评价的教学实践。通过对该女生以及班级同学,测试教师的访谈,同时对访谈结果进行质性分析展开研究。结果表明,采用师生合作评价的方式能够有效改善英语学习者在口语方面的表现,尤其是在语法词汇、语言连贯性方面。

Abstract: Based on the four oral tests of a non-English major female student , and taking CET-4 as the scoring standard, this paper conducts a 16 week teaching practice of cooperative evaluation between teachers and students in this class. Through the qualitative analysis of the interviews with the girl, her classmates and the examiner, the results show that the cooperative evaluation can effectively improve the performance of English learners in oral English, especially in grammar, vocabulary and coherence.
