Abstract: In the context of the implementation and promotion of the “Belt and Road” initiative, China ’s cooperation mechanism with the countries along the “Belt and Road” has continued to deepen. Interconnection and common development with Belt and Road countries have provided a good opportunity for the development of the language service industry in China. In the process of transformation and upgrading from the translation industry to the language service industry, Translators with high comprehensive quality and strong application ability are the core driving forces. The exploration of application-oriented compound translation talents training model becomes necessary. The translator training mode can be constructed from the language basic ability module, the practical training module, and the professional literacy module, to train multi-disciplinary or multi-professional application-oriented compound translation talents) with perfect knowledge structure, strong practical ability, and comprehensive professional literacy.
