Abstract: Labor education is a key measure to implement the Party's education policy, cultivate outstanding innovative talents, and inherit and promote the spirit of labor. As a secondary teaching unit in universities, the engineering training center must implement the fundamental task of cultivating moral character and nurturing students with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor. Labor education is an indispensable and important part of it. The engineering training center, with its comprehensive curriculum system and high-quality software and hardware, has laid the foundation for the development of labor education. This article first analyzes the necessity and feasibility of relying on engineering training centers to carry out labor education for college students, then explores the principles of relying on engineering training centers to carry out labor education for college students in the new era, and proposes a path for university engineering training centers to carry out labor education, hoping to provide support for cultivating socialist builders and successors with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor.
