Abstract: With the rapid development of the social economy and the increasing demand for cultural enrichment, the role of music education in higher education institutions has become increasingly significant. This paper explore effective pathways for cultivating music talents in universities, analyze the existing problems in current music education, and propose corresponding solutions. The article first examines the current state of music talent cultivation in higher education, then identifies the challenges and issues faced in this period, and finally explores potential pathways for development. Through these measures, the goal is to cultivate more high-quality music.
