Abstract: Information technology drives growth of the application of collaborative document tools in higher education. This study compares Kingsoft Docs, Tencent Docs, Shimo Docs, and Microsoft Office in teaching automatic control principles. By integrating them in School of Automation, Beihang University's, the study assesses impacts on learning, participation, and teamwork. Surveys, interviews, and performance analysis were used. Kingsoft Docs improved efficiency, Tencent Docs excelled in localization and mobile use, Shimo Docs enhanced classroom interaction, Microsoft Office stood out in systematic learning and data management. The paper outlines pros and cons of each tool, offering recommendations for optimized use to boost teaching.
