Research on the Teaching Reform of Biostatistics in Normal Colleges

摘要: 生物统计学是应用数理统计的原理和方法研究生物学领域数据规律的一门专业基础课程,对于大学生形成科研思维以及完成学术论文具有不可替代的作用。但由于生物统计学概念抽象以及计算公式复杂,对教师的教学和学生的学习提出了很大的挑战。该文通过对学生进行问卷调查的方式,探究了影响教师教学效果的关键因素;通过分析调查问卷结果,提出了提高学生学习兴趣、鼓励学生加强运动锻炼、引导学生做好课前预习等相应举措,以期提升生物统计学课程的教学质量。

Abstract: Biostatistics is a basic professional course that applies the principles and methods of mathematical statistics to study the data laws in the field of biological science, which plays an irreplaceable role in the formation of scientific research thinking and the completion of academic papers for college students. However, due to the abstract concept of biostatistics and the complexity of calculation formulas, it poses a great challenge to the teaching of teachers and the learning of students. This study explores the key factors that affect the teacher’s teaching effect by means of questionnaires to students. Through the analysis of the questionnaire results, the author puts forward some corresponding measures, such as improving students'interest in learning, encouraging students to strengthen exercise and guiding students to do a good preview before class, to improve the teaching quality of biostatistics course.
