Design and Practice of Project Based Teaching Cases for Excellent Engineer Training

摘要: 加强工程实践能力与工程创新思维的训练是新工科机械类专业卓越工程师人才培养的重点方向。该文对标工程教育认证标准和机械类人才培养方案要求,以产品研发流程为逻辑,定制设计具有工程实际应用情境的“某型越野车转向梯形结构设计”项目式教学案例,设计的案例教学任务内容与机械类专业课程和实践体系相映射,以新生导师制为制度保障,以项目式案例为隐线和载体,衔接串联机械类本科人才培养全过程,能够充分激发学生的专业自主学习能动性,提升学生解决复杂工程问题的实践能力。

Abstract: Strengthening the training of engineering practical ability and engineering innovative thinking is a key direction for the cultivation of outstanding engineering talents in the new engineering mechanical major. This article combines the engineering education certification standards and the requirements of the mechanical talent training program, and based on the product development process, customizes a project-based teaching case of “design of steering trapezoidal structure for a certain off road vehicle” with practical engineering application scenarios. The content of the designed case teaching tasks is mapped to the courses and practical systems of mechanical engineering majors, with the new student mentorship system as the institutional guarantee and project-based cases as the hidden line and carrier to connect the entire process of cultivating mechanical undergraduate talents, fully stimulating students'professional self-learning initiative and enhancing their practical ability to solve complex engineering problems.
