Abstract: Enhancing the digital literacy of college counsellors is not only a policy requirement for the digitisation of national education, but also a practical need for the cultivation of digital talents and an inevitable choice for the high-quality construction of the counsellor team. The study arrived at four key findings by analysing data from a random sample of 365 college counsellors in Zhejiang Province. Firstly, the overall level of digital literacy of counsellors is high; and there is a significant positive correlation with their career success. Second, there are significant differences in digital literacy among counsellors of different genders, academic qualifications, and job titles; however, there are no significant differences in digital literacy among counsellors of different ages and professional backgrounds. To comprehensively improve the digital literacy of counsellors, it is necessary to adhere to the policy orientation and build a digital environment; stimulate the subjective awareness and strengthen theoretical learning; deepen the internal and external linkage and build a long-term mechanism.
