分级教学在医科院校大学英语教学中的可行性分析——以广西医科大学为试点研究

Feasibility Analysis of Graded Teaching in College English Teaching in Medical Colleges—Taking Guangxi Medical University as a Pilot Study

摘要: 目前,许多综合性高等院校为贯彻分级教学目标及课程分类的要求,解决统一规划教学“高能低效”的问题,实施大学英语分级教学。但是,使用该教学模式的医科院校并不多。该文聚焦医科院校大学英语教学改革,在广西医科大学2021级大一年级6个班进行了为期一年的分级教学试点研究。使用问卷调查和访谈的方法,分析分级教学模式在医学生大学英语教学改革中的效果。研究表明:分级教学对学生学习积极性、成绩提高、学生心理均产生了较大的积极影响。该文阐述了分级教学改革的具体做法、发现的问题以及改进建议,期待为医科院校大学英语分级教学提供有益启示和借鉴。

Abstract: Currently, many comprehensive higher education institutions in China are carrying out the requirements of graded teaching and course classification to address the problem of“high input and low efficiency”in college English education. However, the adoption of this model in medical colleges is not yet widespread. This paper focuses on the reform of college English teaching in medical universities and presents the findings of a one-year pilot study on graded teaching conducted in six freshman classes during the 2021 academic year at Guangxi Medical University. Through questionnaire surveys and interviews, the study analyzes the effectiveness of the graded teaching mode for medical students. The research indicates that graded teaching has a significant positive impact on students'learning motivation, academic performance, and psychological well-being. This paper elaborates on the specific practices, highlights the problems identified, and suggests improvements for the graded teaching reform. It is hoped that this study will provide useful insights and serve as a reference for further development of graded English teaching in medical universities.
