约束情境下大学生对创造力结果的权衡:新颖性还是有用性

College Students' Trade-Off among Creativity Outcomes under Constraint Contexts: Novelty or Usefulness

摘要: 约束情境下大学生如何对创造力结果进行衡量,现有研究并未进行实证检验。该文通过采用政策捕获的研究方法,构建了由8个约束因素构成的约束情境,基于40名大学生1 200个观测值的数据,似不相关回归的结果表明:时间约束和财务资源约束促进大学生追求有用性方案,但降低了其追求新颖性方案的倾向;人力资源约束和任务自主性降低了大学生追求有用性方案的倾向;任务流程正式化降低了大学生追求新颖性方案的倾向,但增加了追求有用性方案的倾向;任务标准与成果要求促使大学生追求有用性方案。

Abstract: Extant research has not examined the trade-off between novelty and usefulness among university students under constraint contexts. This article constructs a constraint scenario composed of 8 constraint factors by using the research method of policy capture. Based on the data of 1 200 observations of 40 college students, the results of seemingly uncorrelated regression show that time constraint and financial resource constraint promote college students to pursue usefulness, but reduce their propensity to pursue novelty. Human resource constraints and task autonomy reduce college students' tendency to pursue usefulness; formalization reduces the tendency of pursuing novelty, but increases the tendency of pursuing usefulness. Task standards and outcome requirement prompt college students to pursue usefulness.
