Abstract: Innovation ability has become one of the important abilities that talents need to have, and the cultivation of innovation ability of graduate students in the new era is the top priority of graduate education. The graduate tutor team is conducive to solving the problem of unstable graduate training quality under the single tutor system. Focusing on the cultivation requirements of postgraduate innovation ability, this paper explores the construction idea of postgraduate tutor team from four aspects: the construction of postgraduate tutor team members, the formulation of postgraduate training program, the positioning of tutor roles and responsibilities within the team, and the process management of postgraduate training quality.
