Abstract: This paper takes innovation and entrepreneurship education as the research object, based on the development of old revolutionary base areas in eastern Sichuan, and carries out empirical research around innovation and entrepreneurship education in old revolutionary base areas in eastern Sichuan on the basis of organizing relevant visits and investigations. This paper probes into the overall development of education in the old revolutionary base areas in eastern Sichuan in recent years, its practical achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship education, as well as the existing practical difficulties and problems, and gives the optimization strategy and path of innovation and entrepreneurship education in the old revolutionary base areas in eastern Sichuan on the basis of the above research. It is hoped that the following research can lay a solid social foundation for the smooth development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in the old revolutionary base areas of eastern Sichuan.
