Analysis on Teaching of Finite Element Method

摘要: 在计算数学以及工程领域中,有限元方法是一种能有效求解偏微分方程的重要数值方法。然而,在学生初学有限元方法时,无论是在理论分析还是在编程实现上都会遇到诸多困难。如何能让学生快速且高效地学习到有限元方法的核心内容?如何较快地掌握有限元方法的数值模拟程序设计的框架?该文结合笔者的学习和教学经验,对有限元课程教学的基本思想进行了归纳总结。

关键词: 有限元方法, 偏微分方程, 数值模拟

Abstract: In the fields of computational mathematics and engineering, finite element method is an important numerical method which can effectively solve partial differential equations. However, when students begin to learn the finite element method, they will encounter many difficulties in both theoretical analysis and programming. Therefore, how can students quickly and efficiently learn the core content of finite element method? How to master the numerical simulation program design of finite element method quickly? Combined with the author's learning and teaching experience, this paper summarizes the teaching of finite element course by taking the simplest problem as an example.
