Abstract: The rapid development of the economy has led to the prosperity of the education industry. With the continuous reform of China's education system, college education has achieved remarkable results. Among them, the number and scale of private colleges and universities has increased significantly. A university needs a large amount of materials and goods to carry out normal teaching activities and meet the needs of students' life, which also highlights the importance of material procurement process. Taking private colleges and universities as the research object, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the process of material procurement and puts forward solutions to standardize the material procurement behavior of private colleges and universities.
