Abstract: When private colleges and universities train students, they need to carry out efficient ideological and political education activities in accordance with the relevant national regulations and standards, so as to strengthen the guidance of students' thinking concepts and gradually form good moral qualities. In order to continuously improve the effect of ideological and political education activities, private colleges and universities should construct a more perfect evaluation mechanism of ideological and political education. Based on this, this paper briefly introduces the importance of the evaluation mechanism of ideological and political education in private colleges and universities, and then excavates the problems existing in the evaluation mechanism. On this basis, corresponding improvement suggestions are formulated to lay a good foundation for further improving the quality of ideological and political education activities in private colleges and universities.
