Abstract: The teaching and training goal of mechanical specialty is to cultivate applied, technical and innovative talents, and attach importance to the development of students' soft and hard strength. Local colleges and universities need to abide by the principle of seeking truth from facts when training innovative talents. Face up to and clear the existing problems, according to the current requirements of reform and development, find out the problems in the process of personnel training and formulate solutions. The research content of this paper is the reform and practice of characteristic talents training mode of mechanical specialty in local colleges. Through in-depth analysis of the current difficulties and problems of application-oriented talents training, this paper puts forward targeted solutions, hoping to provide effective reference for relevant research.
