Abstract: Learning support service is one of the most important pillars in distance education. To improve the level of learning support service is to meet the needs of distance learners' personalized learning, promote the comprehensive reform and high-quality development of Open University, and is also the key to the success of online education. To improve the level of learning support service is to build a high-quality learning support service system which focuses on learning needs, pays attention to learning interaction, emphasizes on learning experience, enhances learning effectiveness and improves learning effect. The Open University should take moral education as its foundation, fully implement the concept of "learner -oriented", and vigorously promote the system innovation of learning support service supply. It also should coordinate the development of learning support service elements, optimize learning support service environment, and set up an open and shared learning support service mechanism.
