Exploration on the Teaching Reform of Introduction to Civil Engineering in Local Applied Undergraduate Colleges——Taking Zunyi Normal University as An Example

摘要: 《土木工程概论》是土木工程专业的一门基础课,它对激发学生专业兴趣、提升专业自豪感、开拓新视野和建立创新思维具有重要的意义。该文以遵义师范学院为例,基于“大土木”背景下《土木工程概论》课程特点,分析了改革前该课程在教学中存在的四点主要问题:对课程不够重视、教学手段落后、缺乏优秀教材、教师队伍力量薄弱等,从“教师队伍→教学内容→教学模式→教学方法→教学手段→考核方式”等进行了改革探索。近三年的实践证明,此次教学改革后学生综合成绩显著提升,改革效果良好,为相关院校《土木工程概论》课程教学提供参考。

Abstract: "Introduction to Civil Engineering" is a basic course for civil engineering majors. It is of great significance to inspire students' professional interest, enhance professional pride, open up new horizons and establish innovative thinking. This article takes Zunyi Normal University as an example, based on the characteristics of the course "Introduction to Civil Engineering" in the context of "big civil engineering", and analyzes the four main problems in the teaching of the course before the reform: insufficient attention to the course, backward teaching methods, lack of excellent teaching materials, weak teaching staff, etc. The reform and exploration are carried out from the following aspects: teaching staff → teaching content → teaching mode → teaching method → teaching means → assessment method. The practice in the past three years has proved that after the teaching reform, students' comprehensive performance has been significantly improved, and the reform effect is good, which provides a reference for the teaching of the" Introduction to Civil Engineering "course in related institutions.
