Abstract: The core task of higher education is to build morality and cultivate people. Chinese excellent traditional culture is the wisdom treasure house and thought source of Building Morality and cultivating people. Traditional culture education for college students is the reform from "Ideological and Political Courses" to "curriculum ideological and political education", a beneficial attempt to build the ideological and political education system of the whole course, and a great benefit to cultivate students' humanistic quality and moral quality. However, with the advent of the Internet age, the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture has encountered challenges and gained new opportunities. Based on this, this paper mainly explores the ways for universities to inherit Chinese traditional culture under the background of the Internet age, hoping to further promote the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture in the Internet age.
