Abstract: Accounting basic teaching is an important foundation for cultivating excellent financial and accounting talents. In the multimedia environment, the environment and conditions faced by accounting basic teaching work have undergone significant changes. It is very important for reform and innovate accounting basic teaching through the rational use of multimedia technology for cultivating professional talents. This article first analyzes the problems of the application of multimedia technology in accounting basic teaching, and then elaborates on the application strategies of multimedia technology in accounting basic teaching, aiming to further emphasize the important position and role of multimedia technology in optimizing and reforming accounting basic teaching, provide assistance for improving teaching quality, and cultivate excellent financial and accounting talents.
