Research on Student Recruitment Strategies for Open Universities in the Context of Transformational Development—A Case Study of Shanxi Open University

摘要: 当前,开放大学招生工作仍面临着诸多挑战。该文结合山西开放大学的实际情况,提出了针对性的招生策略及具体措施,指出应通过加大宣传力度,提升学校社会知名度;充分利用国家政策优势支持和多媒体技术,提升教师专业素养和办学质量,加强教学团队建设,优化教学资源,调整考核方式,注重实践环节,建立督导评估机制,增强学校吸引力,以推动开放大学招生工作实现跨越式发展。

Abstract: Currently, the enrollment efforts of open universities still face numerous challenges. Based on the actual situation of Shanxi Open University, this paper proposes targeted enrollment strategies and specific measures. It emphasizes the need to enhance the institution's social visibility through increased publicity efforts, leverage national policy support and multimedia technologies, improve teachers'professional competence and educational quality, strengthen teaching team development, optimize teaching resources, adjust assessment methods, focus on practical components, and establish supervision and evaluation mechanisms to enhance the institution's appeal. Simultaneously, efforts should be made at both institutional and individual levels to establish and improve enrollment incentive mechanisms, thereby driving leapfrog development in the enrollment work of open universities.
